Beading Basics: A start-up class for beginners
Classes offered most every Saturday, 10AM-Noon
$35.00 includes everything—you just show up!

 image

You've gotta start somewhere!
Basic beading is a 2-hour introductory class designed for students who have never beaded and it is the perfect class for people who think they're "not creative" (at Fandangle Bead Store we believe everyone is creative and we'll prove it to you!).  In this beginner level class you will learn a simple wire-wrapping technique (a must for making your own focal pendants, earrings and charm bracelets), the ABC's of bead stringing and all the information you need to explore your inner bead diva!  Students will complete a simple necklace and bracelet ensemble during this 2-hour class.  This is a technique class, hence the $35 fee includes everything -- you just show up and have fun!  Basic bead is our most popular class and tends to fill up early, so be sure to register early!  We can also reserve a date for your special group (minimum 6 students).

Beaded Beauty Bangle Bracelet

 image

Taught by Jane Stark.
Saturday, June 7, 1:00-4:00

$60 includes materials and use of tools

This original design was created by Gwen Fisher and Florence Turnour, two artists who teach and study mathematics and incorporate their background into developing beading designs. This technique is called a Filled Net and you will quickly understand why- as you build a cable of beads around smaller bead netting. This stitch is easy to learn and fun to do. When completed, the bracelet slips over the hand keeping everyone guessing where the bracelet begins or ends.
