Melanie is ... A MUSE!
Fandangle Bead Store was awarded a "Muse" Award from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts at their 2009 "Un-Gala" celebration.    With approximately 60 businesses in the running, Fandangle Bead Store was one of 18 semi-finalists and eventually made the final round, receiving one of the nine annual "MUSE" awards.   The Muse Awards honor extraordinary creativity in business and offer the Virginia business community a forum where leaders and entrepreneurs come together to acknowledge the major role creativity plays in their respective businesses.  According to Elizabeth Lowsley-Williams, VMFA Corporate Relations Manager, "If anyone wonders if there is a connection between creativity and commerce, they need only look at the Muse nominees."  At Fandangle Bead Store, we believe everyone has that creative spark; part of our mission is to ignite that spark.  Be it inspiration through our extraordinary collection of beads, classes, or consultations with our knowledgeable staff, we feel that we have a lot to offer our customers in terms of bringing balance, beauty and creativity into your daily lives.  Thank you for allowing us to share YOUR creative journey, dear customers...

This spring you'll find some old favorites (silk crochet, bead stitches, PMC), plus some new projects that we're really excited about! Check out the new PMC bronze classes as well as our soldering classes and our new line of soldering tools and materials.

Our new mailing list policy
Because of the ever-increasing postal costs associated with mailing out hard copies of our quarterly newsletters, we have decided to take advantage of the age of technology (or as Melanie says, use to these stupid computers to our advantage for once!). Effective immediately, we will no longer mail postcards to people via postal services. Instead we will post quarterly class listings, shop events and coupons on our website. If you would like to receive occasional email updates, please email us at : zukpers@aol.com . We'll be happy to add you to our e-mail customer list so that you will stay abreast of all the latest news here in Beadland.

Announcing the arrival of the hottest item on the PMC market—Bronze PMC!   With silver costs skyrocketing, Bronze PMC offers a less expensive alternative to silver PMC.  Better yet, students have three times more metal clay per package to work with.   Bronze PMC fires to a warm true bronze, is harder than silver PMC, and handles easily.
